Mike Kenney
Vice
President of U.S. Operations
Mike
Kenney directs the day to day operations of RBI Bearing
in the United States and is the driving force behind the
consistent growth of RBI.
Mike
entered the bearings industry in 1979 starting in the warehouse
of a Chicago area distributor. After his promotion to sales
in 1982, he left that company 7 years later to accept a
position as Regional Sales Manager with a bearing manufacturer.
Mike
joined RBI in 1994 as National Sales Manager and established
our Midwest Distribution Center in Roselle, Illinois, a
western suburb of Chicago.
He
was promoted to Vice President - U.S. Operations in June

Tony Bisante
President RBI Canada
Tony joined
Canadian Bearings, Ltd. In 1975 after college and spent
the next 20 years learning the Canadian bearings industry.
His last position was Toronto Regional Sales Manager where
he was responsible for 7 branches and 75 inside and outside
salespeople.
Tony left Canadian
Bearings in 1995 to form RBI Canada as a joint venture with
Rubien Chen. Bearings must run in the family as there are
four other Bisantes' involved in the business; Rudy, Dylan,
Paul and Anthony.

Does
RBI Really Own Factories in China?

The
resounding answer is YES! We have all heard
about joint ventures and partial ownership in China. Joint
ventures range from contracting bearing production from
a particular factory to providing machinery and equipment.
Many
people believe that partial ownership is the only type
of ownership allowed in a business entity and is mandated
by Chinese law. Not true! The Chinese government has realized
that in order to attract foreign investment, 100% foreign
ownership is necessary.
The Chinese government is slowly removing itself from existing
partnerships in businesses of all industries because they
have seen the successes of private companies, both Chinese
and foreign, in improved quality, higher production, and
increased employment.
Economic Development zones have been set up in many areas
of China to encourage new, modern, manufacturing facilities.
RBI Chengdu is located in the Chengdu Economic & Technology
Zone, Longquan, Chengdu, Sichuan Province China.
RBI
Bearing is a privately owned American corporation that also
owns and operates two factories in China - RBI Chengdu
and RBI Wuxi.
