Although China spans over 3,100
miles from east to west...
there is only ONE
time zone in China!
Beijing time is used
in Beijing, Qingdao, Shanghai, Guangzhou or Lhasa. If you live
in western or eastern China, the sun will not be directly overhead
at noon. For a few years China observed daylight-saving time but
not any longer.
Following is a reference showing the
time difference between China and other parts of the world. (The
fact of daylight-saving time observed in other parts of the world
is not taken into consideration.)
China: 12 noon Monday
Los Angeles: 8 PM Sunday
Chicago: 10 PM Sunday
Toronto: 11 PM Sunday
