R.B. International was established by Chen Hao (Rubien Chen) and incorporated in the state of California. The company was originally an importer/wholesaler of Chinese ball bearings selling to large distributors in the U.S.A.
1993
Joint ventures were established with Chinese manufacturers to assure consistent ball bearing quality.
RBI Trading Company was established in Wuxi, China to coordinate all production and shipment from China.
RBI Quality and Technical Center was established in Wuxi. The facility was staffed with engineers to test bearings from our manufacturing partners and work on new project development for our customers.
1994
RBI Bearing opens a Sales & Distribution Center in Addison, Illinois. Moved and expanded to a larger facility in Roselle, Illinois in 2001.
1995
RBI Canada established in Toronto, Canada.
2001
250,000 square foot manufacturing facility built in Chengdu, China.
2003
R.B. International purchases 350,000 square foot manufacturing facility from Wuxi Xinwei Miniature Bearing Co.
2005
RBtech® is registered as a worldwide trademark.
RBI Canada opens a Sales & Distribution Center in Calgary AB
2007
Wuxi R.B. Precision Bearing Company, Ltd. opens in May consolidating our Chengdu and Wuxi factories into a new 400,000 square foot manufacturing facility.
